Advisory built for healthcare that works.
We advise founders and healthcare operators building at the intersection of pharmacy, data, and regulation — and we build ventures of our own that target the same structural gaps.
AMOTIVA Advisory & Services is a Johannesburg-based advisory and venture holding company. The business combines strategic advisory to pharmaceutical and healthcare clients with ownership of technology platforms targeting structural failures in the South African healthcare market.
Advisory is not the end goal — it funds the ventures. The business is oriented toward asset-light platform models that scale without trading time directly for revenue.
Thabang brings 12 years across pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, and operations leadership in regulated South African environments. He holds a BPharm and an MBA in Healthcare Leadership from GIBS. Previous roles include Associate Director of Operations at MSD South Africa, Aseptic Unit Manager at Fresenius Kabi SA, and Production Pharmacist at Bioforce SA.
Each targets a specific structural failure in the South African healthcare and pharmacy market.
An inter-pharmacy stock-sharing and intelligence platform for South African independent pharmacies. Pharmacies use PharmaBridge to transfer stock across their network in real time, reducing dead stock and expiry losses. A layered revenue model includes AI-driven inventory management and real-world evidence data monetisation for pharmaceutical manufacturers.
A structured advisory product for pharmacy groups and independents. Delivered across five pillars: network category intelligence, footfall conversion through clinical services, group procurement and private label, loyalty and CRM architecture, and staff economics and incentive design. Structured to comply with the Competition Act horizontal information exchange rules, POPIA, and SAPC inducement restrictions.
AMOTIVA's development pipeline targets three additional segments: pharmaceutical supply chain intelligence, health data brokerage for manufacturers seeking real-world evidence, and credit infrastructure for independent healthcare providers. Details are shared selectively with prospective partners and investors.
We work with founders and operators who need a thinking partner with real sector depth — not a generalist consultant with a template.

The wordmark, palette, and typefaces that run across all AMOTIVA deliverables.
Whether you are a founder, a pharmacy group, a pharmaceutical company, or an investor — we want to hear from you.
These Terms of Engagement govern all advisory, consulting, and related services provided by AMOTIVA Advisory and Services (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2025/671557/07, registered 27 August 2025; principal: Maine Thabang Mofokeng, SAPC #P22513), trading as AMOTIVA Advisory & Services from 47 Maple Drive, Midrand, 1684, Gauteng ("AMOTIVA", "we", "us") to any client ("you") who engages our services, whether through a formal engagement letter, a written instruction, or conduct.
These terms apply alongside any specific engagement letter. Where conflict exists, the engagement letter prevails.
AMOTIVA provides business advisory, regulatory consulting, commercial strategy, data commercialisation, and healthcare sector advisory services. Maine Thabang Mofokeng is a South African Pharmacy Council registered pharmacist and holds an MBA in Healthcare Leadership. He is not an admitted attorney, advocate, or notary under the Legal Practice Act 28 of 2014.
Accordingly:
Fees are agreed in writing before engagement commences. Unless otherwise stated in the engagement letter:
All deliverables produced by AMOTIVA — including reports, strategies, templates, code, and presentations — remain our intellectual property until full payment is received, at which point ownership transfers to you for the purposes set out in the engagement letter. We retain the right to use anonymised methodologies and frameworks for other clients.
You grant AMOTIVA a limited licence to use any materials you provide solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed services.
Both parties agree to keep confidential all non-public information received from the other party. This obligation survives termination of the engagement for a period of three years. It does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law or a competent authority.
AMOTIVA operates across the pharmaceutical and pharmacy sectors and may advise clients whose commercial interests overlap. We will disclose any material conflict before accepting an engagement and will not act for two parties with directly adverse interests in the same matter without written consent from both.
In particular: AMOTIVA owns PharmaBridge, a platform that serves independent pharmacies. Where advisory engagements touch on matters directly affecting PharmaBridge's commercial interests, we will disclose this and, where necessary, recuse ourselves or refer you to independent advisors.
AMOTIVA's aggregate liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages, regardless of cause.
This limitation does not exclude liability for fraud or gross negligence.
Where AMOTIVA delivers services involving multi-party data, category intelligence, or information aggregated across competing pharmacies or pharmaceutical suppliers, such services are structured to comply with section 4(1)(b) of the Competition Act 89 of 1998. No service AMOTIVA provides is designed to facilitate price-fixing, market allocation, or the exchange of competitively sensitive information in contravention of that section. If you have concerns about competition law compliance in connection with our services, raise them before or during the engagement.
Either party may terminate an engagement on 14 days written notice. Fees for work completed or committed prior to termination remain payable. Where termination is caused by your breach of these terms, you remain liable for the full estimated engagement fee as agreed in the engagement letter.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by negotiation shall be referred to mediation, and if unresolved, to the courts of the Republic having jurisdiction over the matter, with Gauteng as the preferred seat of proceedings.
